Marjory Houston Staehle, 93, has departed this life on March 31, 2014. She was a prominent photographer in the South Florida area for 50 years. She taught English at Miami Dade College, worked for U.S. congresswoman Carrie Meek as a Photographer and public affairs staff assistant and worked for the American Automobile Association as a sales associate. She was the wife of the late Albert Staehle, creator of Smokey Bear, Butch the dog and other well known American Icons. She was born in NYC and moved to Miami in the 1950's. She was honest and loved by all her friends. Survived by her children: Franklin O'Conor, Shelley Fox, Linda Staehle, Marjory Staehlea and Selene Staehle.
